Types of Volunteer Positions
Setup: Help set up canopies, umbrellas, tables, chairs, and signs. This position includes heavy lifting.
Greeters move throughout the market answering questions and directing customers to their favorite vendors. Greeters give breaks to market vendors, take pictures, hand out dog biscuits and handbills, and perform the hourly customer count. This volunteer role involves more interaction with customers and vendors than any other.
Information Booth volunteers run the Hollywood Farmers Market booth. Duties include answering customer questions, selling market merchandise, and more.
Breakdown: Help take down canopies, umbrellas, tables, chairs, and signs. This position includes heavy lifting.
Hours to Volunteer
Saturday 7-8am, 8-10:30am, 10:30-1pm, 1-2pm
Winter Market (October-March) Saturday 8-9am, 9-11am, 11am-1pm, 1-2pm
You must be 16 or older to volunteer at Hollywood Farmers Market.
You can volunteer with your parent or guardian, if you are under the age of 16.
