We’re looking for a part-time Token Program Administrator!

The Hollywood Farmers Market is a looking for a committed, passionate, outgoing, detail-oriented individual to fill our seasonal Token Program Administrator (TPA) position.
Position Title: Token Program Administrator
Status: Part-time/Hourly (approx. 10 hours a week)
Reports To: HFM Market Manager
Salary: $10.25/hour
Start Date: April 18, 2015
Job Summary
The Token Program Administrator (TPA) is responsible for operating the debit/EBT machine at the market, selling tokens, providing customer service, and maintaining accurate records of token transactions. In addition, the TPA is responsible for tracking and reconciling tokens based on market transactions and vendor returns, creating a market day report summary and communicating with the Market Manager (MM) and bookkeeper. Additional duties include assisting the Community Volunteer Coordinator (CVC) and breakdown volunteers with breaking down the market; working with the CVC and MM to ensure accurate token accounting and machine maintenance/functionality; and presenting a year-end report to the Board of Directors. Attending monthly Board and Staff Committee meetings is an optional paid duty of the TPA. The TPA reports directly to the MM.
Qualifications
The TPA should be proficient in MS Excel and have a background in accounting or bookkeeping. This employee should also be detail-oriented and possess excellent customer service skills. Interest in community food systems and farmers markets is a plus.
The TPA must be willing to work outside in varying weather conditions on market days and have the ability to perform some heavy lifting, squat, reach and perform other physical tasks.
Hours and Pay Schedule
This is a part-time position and requires approximately 10 hours per week during the market season from May through November. This includes 6 hours of onsite staffing at the Saturday market and up to 4 hours of data tracking and sales reconciliation to be completed any time between Saturday afternoon and the end of the day the following Tuesday, in coordination with the MM. Additional hours may be necessary for Staff Committee meetings (optional, 1 hour per month), troubleshooting, and completing a year-end report. The TPA must inform the Market Manager or Staff Committee of any work required over and above the job description. The TPA receives one paid Saturday off per year.
The following hours are budgeted for this position:
Pre-Training – One market plus 4 hours per season
Onsite Staffing – 6 hours per market
Data Tracking – 4 hours per week
Miscellaneous Troubleshooting – 4 hours per season
Staff Committee Meetings (optional) – 8 hours per season
Year End Report – 5 hours per season
