Our series of monthly kids’ cooking demos kicks off this Saturday the 17th! Chef Joanna Sooper of Turnip the Heat Cooking School will be demonstrating for our “market sprouts” (all our young customers, that is) a few simple preparations of salad greens: a green dip with crackers, and a strawberry-hazelnut green salad. Demos will start at about 9:30am and go until noon. See below for the full list of kids’ cooking demos this season.
May 17: Salad Greens
June 21: Strawberries (this market will also feature kids’ music from Steve Cooper and Talullah’s Daddy)
July 12: Peas and Carrots
August 9: Peaches
September 13: Tomatoes
