Market Music: Katelyn Convery

Originally from Portland, Oregon, Katelyn Convery spent seven years living in South Korea, Spain and South Africa. Her exposure to culturally diverse styles of music has greatly influenced her songwriting, which often explores the hopeful space that lies between beginning and arriving. Upbeat, ska-like rhythms, paired with folk/pop song structures and a sprinkle of jazz form the musical backbone, which she breathes to life with her soulful voice and lyrics.
