You know and love Hollywood Farmers Market (HFM). But did you know that HFM has a sister market open during the week, right in the middle of Oregon Square? You no longer need to wait until the weekend to buy awesome local produce and food.

If you aren’t acquainted with the HFM’s smaller sister, now is a great time to get acquainted with the Lloyd Farmers Market (LFM), where you can pick up a fabulous lunch or local Oregon and Washington produce. In keeping with Hollywood Farmers Market’s mission of bringing fresh produce to Portland’s Northeast neighborhoods, LFM connects local farmers and vendors with the community.
You can find the Lloyd Farmers Market under the blossoming cherry trees in Oregon Square Courtyard at 800 NE Holladay Street between NE 7th and 9th Avenues, centrally located in the Lloyd neighborhood. Open every Tuesday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, LFM is very accessible.
Loyd Farmers Market serves local office workers, the increasing number of nearby residents, and shoppers who need a break in their day. If you’re from other parts of town, the market is right next to the 7th Ave MAX station served by the Red, Green and Blue lines, as well as the Portland Streetcar and the #77 bus.

But if you wonder why you should visit LFM, not only can you pick up fresh produce during the week, there are some unique products worth checking out.
If you miss the fresh flowers from Herr Family Farm when the cold weather settles in, fresh year-round bouquets from Cheng Summer Bloom delight the senses and make the grey weather blues disappear.
Are you an Outlander fan? Get a bit of Highland beef from family-owned Marston Farm. The grass-fed Highlander cows originated in the Scottish Highlands and provide superior nutrition and flavor.

When you’re hungry for authentic Mexican food, Mixteca has mouth-watering traditional dishes, using recipes from the rich region of Oaxaca. Known for their tamales, mole negro, chileajo (red mole), and mole de Hongo (mole Amarillo), lunch turns into an exotic adventure.

And right now, the smell of warm roasted nuts from 29 Kettle Confectionary is darn near irresistible!
As spring makes its presence known, come out and enjoy the beautiful weather on Tuesdays. Say hi, pick up fresh produce, and experience a new local adventure in Northeast Portland.
News Alert!! Coming this spring, you’ll be able to enjoy a short walk between the central eastside and Lloyd neighborhood. Once it opens, you’ll be able to stroll across I-84 on the new Blumenauer Bicycle and Pedestrian Bridge at NE 7th Ave.
